So so much fun today photographing Rictina and Tony — about to be married on Valentine’s Day — I mean — how APPROPRIATE!!  ::grin::

We couldn’t do the engagement shoot with just the two of them — OF COURSE we had to document this newly blended family too.  So we did both.  And I am so glad we did.

Besides…it was meant to be — in many more ways than I can list here.  But if I could only choose one thing to hallmark this day?  Weather.  It’s December right?  It’s cold and snowy right?  Not for these two.  SIXTY degrees, and while it torrentially poured ALL DAY — as soon as we started shooting.  Sun.  Blue Sky.

It’s a sign.

It’s a good thing that through subsequent emails I figured out that they were ACTUAL chinchillas.  Otherwise I would have been REALLY SURPRISED when they walked in the door.  ::laughing::

Then…after they suffer (and from a boy’s point of view it IS suffering ::grin::) you let them be themselves.  And the photos become about the FAMILY and less about posey posey.

Love the images from the P Fam today.  I was soooo happy they were willing to try some different things — I think the results are going to be all “oh man, Tam…we love those!”  ::grin::
