I had the opportunity to work with the amazingly talented and uber-cool chick behind the genius that is Reckless Necklace. Seriously. These pieces are original and GORGEOUS. Blynn needed help updating her website — and although it is not live yet — I can promise you that when it IS — it will be CRAZY COOL.
This was a multi-person collaboration and I could not have gotten these images without the cool headed and idea driven talent that is Stacy K – and the technical genius that is Erich Camping. We ALL had input into these images and I love love love them so much. We had a great group of girls who modeled for us — and I was super impressed with the professionalism and energy all the girls put into delivering images that sold Blynn’s cool necklaces!

You know it’s been busy when two MONTHS creep by and you don’t update your blog. Then…when you finally DO want to update your blog you can’t remember the password to…erm…update your blog.
OBviously I’ve figured that out! I have a bunch of stuff to share — so I’m blogging this morning — so forgive me for the blog dump today (that sounds funny and somehow…wrong…doesn’t it? ::laughing::)
I had the opportunity to work with the AMAZING team over at the American Heart Association in Rochester. They contacted me to do a series of images of survivors with the concept being “The Face of Heart Disease”.
I have never been so moved and touched by a project. I LOVED meeting each and every one of these incredibly resilient and awesome people. Truly. I am a better person because of it. I took on the project because my family has a MAJOR history with heart disease — and as my mom tells me — my grandfather is very proud of me right now. ::sniff::
The posters will be on display at the Heart Walk on April 10th – if you are participating or cheering your loved ones on — see you there!

I have to tell you that everyone LOVES the photos (as do we)!! Our friends have said that the pictures are beautiful, sexy and belong in a magazine. My mother is so excited and she said that she is so happy to have you for our wedding. (She even said she likes the serious ones, which is surprising.) I just thought you should hear the compliments that we are hearing. THANK YOU!!

I am experiencing technical difficulties — somehow my facebook has been taken down and I’m working on it…GARRRRRRRRRRRR (isn’t this exciting?!)
Update: Thanks to the FABULOUS Traci Gill (yes, my clients are amazing and wonderful ) — I know this — there are issues with one of the facebook servers — and of course — it is the one my profile is one — so some people are having difficulties while others are not — and facebook is working on it!
PHEW.
Lindsey and Tony. Their wedding was so cool in so many ways! They have been waiting patiently for this sneak peek (my trip to California slowed things waaay down. More about that later) so it’s going to be a big one!
I am always touched by families. Lindsey and Tony are blessed with two of the most amazing families and countless friends than I have ever seen! Fifty people in their wedding party — everyone was great!
Getting ready — Lindsey was simply stunning:

Her beautiful family and friends were right around her helping to support her on this beautiful day…

Perfect Day. Perfect Ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony — mom had a surprise — a bag piper playing! I love her reaction…

Stay tuned for part two…
So. Kelly and Craig. The title says it all. We met way way long before I was really involved in my own Tammy Swales Photography world — they cheered me, believed in me and encouraged me. I was inspired by their thoughtfulness, happiness and pure joy of being together and in love.
I have more to share about their wedding — they got married at Chapel Hill in Rochester NY and had their reception at the Inn on Broadway — but to begin with I just wanted to celebrate how much I love these two. Kelly and Craig – thank you so much. You have changed me in ways that I can’t describe and I am so grateful!
Kelly’s Dad seeing her for the first time in her dress. I love the synergy between these two!

One of Kelly’s portrait location requests was going downtown and getting some fun pics with buildings in the background. LOVE!

They rented this cool trolley from Diamond Limousine. It didn’t hurt that the sun was in a perfect location for this shot, don’t you think?
