Ali first fell in love with photography while traveling abroad with her family when she was young. She wanted not only to observe her surroundings, but also to preserve the energy and atmosphere of the places she visited and to honestly portray the culture and every day lives of the people she met. Thus began her passion for lifestyle photography.

ALI’S APPROACH TO LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY IS ENERGETIC, ORGANIC AND FUN. She sees herself as a documentarian, capturing what she calls the “intersection between reality and memory” that true storytelling brings to life. Whether she is shooting a wedding or a portrait session, she sees stories in real time, as they unfold, and it is those stories that she works to tell, naturally and uncontrived.
