J and A were up for any goofy idea I had — so be warned — when I get these images done you are gonna LOVE them! Heh. And they were AMAZING despite the fact that it was FREEZING outside and everyone’s lips were chattering. Now that’s dedication to a common goal! ::grin::
And how adorable is the nine year old? I lurve her. She was so much fun to get to smile…

BEAUTIFUL! THat little girl is darling and the couple pictures are great.
TFS!
Who chopped off A’s head?
Really great photos. Sopmeone might think there is talent in this photographer
I chopped it off of course! It’s too big. ::grin::
(just in case anyone’s wondering that’s my uncle. enough said. ::heheh::)

C’mon. Admit it. It’s a valid question. There are a meeelion photographers in this area and all over the place. Some cost a lot. Some cost virtually nothing.
Eventually every small business owner has to answer this question — why would you trust me?
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this and here’s what I’ve come up with…
1. Personality.
2. Creativity.
3. Technical Skills.
And I don’t want to make this a sales pitch. Really. I just wrote a lot of blah blah blah and deleted it because I think I can show you why you might consider working with me — in two images…
Scenario: 80th birthday party. Family gets together in dark restaurant with bad lighting and wants images.
Straight out of the camera:

Great expression, right? I love his face so much. Here’s what I can do… the “after” shot:

Would you love it if this were your dad?
And one more. Same scenario:

Great post! Love the last image!
ok now……youre teaching me this!!!!
Meet S. We had a fun and goofy time today today wandering around downtown Rochester finding places to take pictures where it wasn’t blizzarding or freezing. She was AWESOME and willing to try any idea I had — and I think the results will be so worth it…
Here’s a sneak peek for the darling Ms. S — more to follow!

and I love editing them.
Sometimes pumping up an image during editing takes it from good to interesting or from cool to WOW.
I LOVE this one — the way the bride is framing the image — but the couple in the background is exuding their own happiness. This image makes me smile every time I look at it.

Can’t you just feel the love in this image? I just loved these two. I confess to following them around the dance floor and photographing them just because their adorable factor was through the roof.

I’ve been playing in Photoshop this morning (because what ELSE do I have to do today? ::wry grin::) and experimenting with a photograph that I love. It’s interesting to me how a photograph can change dramatically even with tone and color. I was thinking it would be cool to have a photograph of someone you love that blended into it’s surroundings…like this little girl. Imagine her in a blue themed room…I also love how the feeling of the image changes as the color and intensity change. I love color.
Cool eh?

Check out Scott C’s portfolio and work. I’m going back frequently when I need a smile. This is from his “adorable battles” series. Love.
